Responsibilities
- Providing full-time care and supervision of the child according to the family's routine
- Helping the child get ready for kindergarten in the morning and accompanying her to and from kindergarten
- Collecting the child from kindergarten and organising her afternoon and evening routine
- Accompanying the child to educational activities, sports, classes and other outings
- Spending quality time with the child through play, conversation and age-appropriate activities
- Supporting the child's general development and encouraging good manners and positive social behaviour
- Preparing the child for bedtime, including bathing and maintaining her evening routine
- Ensuring the child's safety, wellbeing and comfort at all times
- Working closely and cooperatively with the second nanny to ensure consistency and continuity of care
- Being flexible and adapting to the family's schedule and need
Conditions
- Salary from £1,200+ per week, negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
- Rotational schedule: 2 days on / 2 days off or 3 days on / 3 days off, alternating with another nanny
- Live-in position during working days
- During the first year, the nanny will sleep in the same room as the child; after the first year, a separate bedroom is planned
- Free daytime hours while the child is at kindergarten
- Occasional adjustments to the schedule may be required according to the family's needs
- 4 weeks paid holiday per year
- Location: Central Moscow, near Smolenskaya Metro Station
- Only candidates currently based in Moscow will be considered
Requirements
- Native English speaker, female
- University degree and/or relevant childcare qualifications would be an advantage
- Proven experience working as a nanny with young children in private families
- Good, checkable references
- Warm, caring, patient and attentive personality
- Professional, well-presented and reliable
- Ability to work as part of a nanny team and maintain consistency in the child's routine
- Flexible and adaptable approach
- Strong organisational skills and genuine interest in the child's wellbeing and development
